FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Just a racket, everything else including shuttles and nets are supplied.
Q. Do you offer coaching or classes?
A. These are not provided.
Q. Can I book a court?
A. We play in a school sports hall not a leisure centre. so we are unable to take bookings for courts.
Q. How is play organised?
A. We use a peg-board system to allocate players to available courts.
Q. Can I play with a specific partner?
A. Because we are a club, to ensure fairness, we randomly mix pairings using a peg-board system.
Q. Can children play?
A. Unfortunately, allowing children and young people under the age of 18 would place a large administrative burden on our small club, so we do not take players under the age of 18.
Q. What do you charge?
Currently we charge £5 per person per night. An annual fee is normally available, if you need more information please make an enquiry using the email address on the Contact Us page.
Q. How often do you play?
We play once a week on Wednesdays 19:30 to 22:00.
We do play most Wednesdays although occasionally due to the school's requirements the Sports Hall is sometimes unavailable to us.
Q. Where are you?
A. We are on Brentwood Road, Romford, RM1 2RR playing in the Sports Hall of The Frances Bardsley Academy for Girls, see the 'About Us' page for full details.
A. Unfortunately we have no refreshment facilities available, so please ensure you bring enough liquid refreshment with you.
